Great American Cookies is continuing its tradition of treating customers to one free original Chocolate Chip Cookie on Tax Day (Monday, May 17) at participating stores.

The cookie bakery’s sister brand, Marble Slab Creamery, is joining in on the fun this year by offering a free Regular Ice Cream with purchase of a Regular or Best Value Ice Cream at participating locations.

“While taxes are never fun, there is something positive about the return of the Tax Day freebie – especially when it’s as delicious as fresh baked cookies or made-in-store ice cream,” says Annica Conrad, chief marketing officer for Global Franchise Group, the parent company of Great American Cookies and Marble Slab Creamery. “After skipping our Great American Cookies Tax Day tradition in 2020 because of the pandemic, we are thrilled to make Tax Day 2021 bigger and better with another great deal at our Marble Slab Creamery stores. We invite everyone to join us on Tax Day and treat yourself!”

Great American Cookies and Marble Slab are both in the Global Franchise Group family of brands. The two first introduced a co-brand experience a year ago, bringing the fresh-baked cookies and homemade ice cream iconic concepts together in one store.
