Alessi Bakery has been a staple of the Tampa community since 1912. One of the city’s oldest historic restaurant establishments, Alessi was in business during a time in which the area was really starting to flourish in the early 1900’s.
Today, Alessi Bakery continues to serve the community with a range of cakes, cookies, pastries, pies, and sandwiches. This weekend, the bakery is celebrating its 106th birthday, and honoring the memory of Phil Alessi, the third-generation owner who passed away in May, with special offers on some of these products.
On Saturday and Sunday, the bakery will offer special discounts and giveaways every 25 minutes. Some items will even be priced as they would have been in the year 1912.
“Alessi has been a family-owned business since 1912! 106 years later, family is still at the root of everything we do. Will you and your family be celebrating with us this weekend at the #AlessiAnniversary? We sure hope so!” the bakery posted on social media earlier this week.
