Warm cookie bakery Tiff’s Treats continues to grow throughout the city of Houston, Texas. Its latest opening will surely draw a crowd, as it looks to help out a good cause.
On Saturday, November 10, Tiff’s Treats will hold the grand opening celebration for its eighth Houston location. As part of the big day, a charitable kick off will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to benefit Sydney’s Song.
Sydney’s Song is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising money for children with BPAN, an ultra rare neurodegenerative disease that causes childhood intellectual disability and multiple seizure types, with an early onset of regression, Parkinsonism, and Dementia.
Customers are encouraged to bring new unwrapped children’s books to donate to Sydney’s Song. Every person that contributes will get a $5 Tiff's Treats Gift Card.
Other special offers will be available that day. The first 40 people in line at 9 a.m. will be given a $100 Tiff’s Treats gift card. All others in line at that time will get a $10 gift card (must be 18 or older). Customers will also have the chance to win free cookies for a year, as well as gift cards donated from local area restaurants and shops that will be randomly inserted into boxes of cookies.
“We are thrilled to continue our Texas expansion into Northwest Houston’s Vintage Park, an area we currently served via courier service but saw enough demand to open up a store” says Tiffany Chen, co-founder of Tiff’s Treats.
One of the many things that helps Tiff’s Treats to stand out is that its stores are now cashless. Only debit and credit cards are accepted.
