One of the biggest names in baking, Milk Bar has grown considerably since it was founded a decade ago. With the company’s tenth birthday arriving, Milk Bar is celebrating with its customers in a delicious way.
On Tuesday, November 13, Milk Bar is selling its popular “fruity cereal” and classic “cereal milk” soft serves for $1 all day. The deal is available at all Milk Bar locations in New York City, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Toronto.
This season has been a big one for Milk Bar. Founder Christina Tosi recently published a cookbook covering all areas of cake, from two-minute microwave mug cakes to her signature naked layer cakes filled with pops of flavors and textures. Published on Tuesday, October 23 through Clarkson Potter, Milk Bar: All About Cake reveals tips and tricks that allow readers to invent creative cake flavors and make the ordinary cake flavors extraordinary.
Also for the fall, Milk Bar introduced several items to its menu. One of those was the returning Thanksgiving Croissant. This meal-in-a-pastry consists of roasted turkey, homemade gravy, and cranberry sauce tucked into stuffing-flavored dough. The bakery also recently debuted a pumpkin dulce de leche flavor in several of its products, including naked layer cakes, cake truffles, and MilkQuakes. The seasonal offering consists of vanilla spice cake, milk crumbs, dulce de leche, roasted pumpkin ganache, and roasted pepitas.
