Warm cookie bakery Tiff’s Treats is celebrating its new Texas store with a charitable kickoff. The Hurst, Texas location will debut on Saturday, January 5, 2019 and will benefit the Texas Rangers Foundation.
Customers are being asked to bring new unwrapped children and youths books to donate to the Foundation. Everyone that contributes will get a $5 Tiff's Treats Gift Card. The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation looks to improve the lives of children in need within the community, and provides funding for youth in crisis, youth health initiatives, youth baseball programs, and youth education.
“We are thrilled to continue our DFW expansion into Hurst and to partner with the Texas Rangers Foundation, an amazing organization, that is giving back to the community in a big way” says Tiffany Chen, co-founder of Tiff’s Treats.
To celebrate opening day, the first 40 people in line over the age of 18 at 9 a.m. will be given a $100 Tiff’s Treats gift card and others in line at that time will receive a $10 gift card.
Additionally, customers will be able to purchase a dozen cookies for only $5, gift cards donated from local area restaurants and shops will be randomly inserted into boxes of cookies, and every person in attendance for the celebration will have a chance to win free cookies for a year.
