The latest seasonal beverage has joined the Starbucks menu, and it will have cookie and coffee lovers excited. The new Cinnamon Shortbread Latte made its debut on Tuesday, January 8, and it looks to be for winter lattes what pumpkin spice is to fall lattes.
Described by Starbucks as “shortbread made sippable,” this limited-time beverage combines espresso with milk and notes of brown butter and vanilla, and is topped with cinnamon and nutmeg. It can be ordered hot, iced, or as a Frappuccino blended beverage.
Beverages are not the only items to make their debut on the menu. The chain’s popular Sous Vide Egg Bites have a new flavor. The Ham, Cheddar, and Peppers Sous Vide Egg Bites are made with cage-free eggs, cheddar, cottage and Monterey Jack cheese, onions, uncured ham, and red and green bell peppers.
After breakfast, there are several new items as well. The Ham and Swiss Panini, on the permanent menu, features a sliced golden baguette, spread with Dijon butter, layered with smoky-sweet ham and Swiss cheese. Another permanent item on the menu is the new Morning Bun, with an updated recipe.
The Red Velvet Loaf Cake is a red velvet cake swirled with vanilla-flavored cake and topped with white chocolate icing. It is available for a limited time while supplies last.
