Le Macaron French Pastries, a French patisserie franchise specializing in macarons and other pastries, has its sights set on New York in the coming years. It has announced plans to open more than 20 locations throughout the state by 2023.
Le Macaron currently has over 50 shops throughout the U.S., and has looked to expand both these kind of stores as well as its mobile kiosks that can be found in malls, airports, sporting events, festivals, and other places where it can reach on-the-go consumers.
“New York has proven to be the perfect market for Le Macaron French Pastries – the community has been incredibly supportive and the community appreciates the elevated flavors our pastries have to offer,” says New York franchisee Frank Kelly. “From the locals to the millions of visitors that flock to the city every year, we've developed a loyal-fan base with our authentic macarons that are unparalleled in the market. I look forward to watching Le Macaron French Pastries further expand its presence throughout New York.”
In 2009, Rosalie and Audrey Guillem began sharing their delectable macarons with the American consumer market and opened their first Le Macaron French Pastries. Because of the frequent requests from customers to open locations in their community, the company began franchising in 2012.
“New York draws many parallels to our native area of France, being rich in culture with a thriving economy,” says Rosalie Guillem, CEO and co-founder of Le Macaron French Pastries. “As a prime state for expansion, especially with our versatile mobile cart franchise opportunity, we look forward to increasing our footprint through the Downtown Manhattan area, as well as Williamsburg and Staten Island, with franchise partners to help give all New York residents access to our little bites of heaven known as macarons.”
