When it comes to breakfast, America loves bagels. ezCater, the nation's largest marketplace for business catering, analyzed bagel orders nationally in 2018 to find the top bagel-loving cities in the country.
New York City, unsurprisingly, took the top spot. New Yorkers have long boasted about their bagel love, and this report confirms that. According to ezCater, 40 percent of all of its bagel orders come from NYC.

Bagels appear to have much more popularity in the North than they do in the South. Some of the cities with the least number of bagels ordered last year include Houston, Austin, Nashville, and Raleigh.
September through November is the best time for bagel orders, according to ezCater. That is the period of time with the highest amount of bagel orders, while the lowest amount occurs in January and February.
