Third-party delivery services have become big among many foodservice establishments. Last month, Starbucks expanded its delivery through Uber Eats, and many retail bakeries have been working with some of these companies to boost their sales.
The latest news in that realm comes from Dunkin’. The company announced last week that it is beginning a trial delivery period through Grubhub. It is not yet known when that will begin or what it’s scope will be. Dunkin’ currently partners with Door Dash and has no plans to end that partnership.
Dunkin’ has undergone major changes in the past year. The company re-branded in September of 2018, with a new name and new packaging. The new packaging finally arrived at Dunkin’ stores last month, with a fresh look for its cups, donut boxes, and even napkins.
“The designs reflect the energy and excitement that Dunkin’ serves daily. The packaging, just like our new branding, is fresh and new, while still paying homage to our brand’s iconic colors and rich heritage of keeping America running,” Dunkin’ says on its website.
