Thursday, March 14 (3/14) will be Pietastic Day at Eli’s Cheesecake. The Chicago bakery will feature a variety of treats on that day honoring pie and Pi (π). Eli’s will celebrate with mini pies, ice cream a la pie, and Pookies.

The mini fruit pies, in Apple and Cherry flavors, can be served as individual treats, or on top of a scoop of vanilla ice cream (the opposite of pie a la mode). They cost 75 cents for each pie,  $2 for 3 pies, or $1.50 a la mode.

The new Pookies are a unique treat consisting of all-butter cookie dough topped with housemade apple or strawberry pie filling. They cost $2.75 each.

Finally, Eli’s is offering Pi Day Flights that include three mini pies (Apple, Strawberry, and Blueberry). They are served warm, with ice cream, housemade sauces, and accoutrements. The special price of $3.14 is a special nod to Pi Day.

Eli’s Pietastic day specials will be served at Eli’s Cheesecake in Chicago on Thursday, March 14 all day, and are available for local delivery throughout the city and its suburbs. The Pi Day Flight is available for dine-in only.
