Artisanal bread brand Breadeli is making its way into the U.S. bread market with the introduction of its Rustic Flats at the 2019 Natural Products Expo West.
Bakkavor Bread USA looks to bring its U.K. bread success to the United States with the Breadeli brand. Breadeli’s Rustic Flats are baked using a day-long process at a new 35,000-square-foot Bakkavor USA manufacturing site in Charlotte, North Carolina.
“We built Breadeli around the current trends and understanding that people want better-for-you ingredients and versatile products that take you from breakfast to dessert. Our Rustic Flats do just that,” says Ben Waldron, Bakkavor USA President and CEO.
Rustic Flats are made with a sourdough starter and feature a rich range of toppings that enhance the tender, handcrafted flats. They are light, airy, and chewy. They’re also free from artificial flavors and preservatives.
Breadeli Rustic Flats come in five flavors featuring toppings infused with real herbs, spices, and aged cheeses. They include Basil Pesto, Roasted Tomato, Garlic Butter, Original, and Italian Herb. They will be available in retail outlets and on Amazon in early 2019.
