Just a few months after its first pop-up North American café debuted at New York City’s Penn Station, Godiva Chocolates will hold a grand opening of its first permanent café at New York City’s Lexington Avenue.
Sometime this spring, Godiva will formally open the café before inviting everyone in to enjoy the festivities and taste the new café’s offerings. Among these offerings is the delicious chocolate Godiva is known for, as well as a menu of sweet and savory premium grab-n-go items, specialty beverages, and more.
The most noteworthy item on the menu is the new signature Croiffle. This innovative pastry is a croissant-waffle hybrid that consists of a freshly-made buttery croissant pressed into a hot waffle that will be available in both sweet and savory flavors.
At the Penn Station location, sweet versions of the Croiffle include the Dark Chocolate Croiffle and the Milk Chocolate Croiffle, while savory versions include the Three Cheese Croiffle, the Ham & Swiss Croiffle, the Bacon, Egg & Gouda Croiffle, and the Sausage, Egg & Gruyere Croiffle.
The Lexington Avenue and Penn Station cafés are part of Godiva’s long-term strategy to roll out close to 2,000 cafés over the next six years.
