“Summer is so close you can taste it. Literally!” That’s what Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is saying about its latest collection that will help welcome the arrival of summer.
The company has announced a collection of doughnuts featuring some of summertime’s most popular fruit flavors. The launch will kick off with the return of the popular Lemon Glaze Doughnut from Monday, April 22, to Sunday, April 28. This zesty doughnut is the perfect pairing of fresh lemon and Krispy Kreme’s sweet, signature glaze.
Following that, three new doughnuts will make their debuts on Monday, May 6. These fruit-flavored doughnuts, featuring bright and colorful designs, will be available through Sunday, June 16, at participating Krispy Kreme locations:
- Pineapple Doughnut – A brightly decorated doughnut full of pineapple filling
- Key Lime Doughnut - Filled with tart Key Lime Kreme to balance the sweetness of a Krispy Kreme doughnut
- Strawberry Doughnut – Packed with strawberry filling and decorated to resemble one of summer’s tastiest fruits
“Winter? No. Summer is coming. Come in and get an early taste today,” says Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.
