Last week, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts announced a collection of doughnuts featuring some of summertime’s most popular fruit flavors. The first of those doughnuts has been added to the menu for one week only, from Monday, April 22 to Sunday, April 29.

The popular Lemon Glazed Doughnut makes its return following a successful debut last year. The zesty flavor pairs fresh lemon with Krispy Kreme’s sweet, signature glaze.

In January of 2018, the flavor beat out blueberry, caramel, and maple in a fan vote to determine which one would be featured at Krispy Kreme stores across the U.S. and Canada. It made its official debut in April of that year and then returned for another week in late-summer.

Krispy Kreme will follow the Lemon Glazed Doughnut with three new fruit-filled doughnuts debuting on Monday, May 6 and lasting until Sunday, June 16. They include doughnuts filled with pineapple, Key lime, and strawberry flavors.
