At 7 p.m. PST on Wednesday, May 8, Tartine Bakery in San Francisco will be the site of a bagel-specific pop-up shop called Midnite Bagel. The special bagels will be available following the rush of customers in the evening for the bakery’s breads.
For two hours, customers can get bagels and babka, according to the pop-up’s Instagram account and website. Both platforms are keeping the pop-up’s specific offerings a mystery, but anticipation is high nonetheless.
This latest promotion follows a busy winter season for Tartine. In January, the bakery opened a food hall along with Mexican eatery Cala and Thai restaurant Kin Khao inside of San Francisco International Airport.
That was followed in late January by more expansion with the opening of the new Manufactory in Los Angeles. The nearly 40,000-square-foot complex features restaurants and retail spaces, including a 7,000-square-foot bakery.
