In honor of National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day on Wednesday, May 15, Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip broke a Guinness World Record for the longest line of cookies.
That day, fans were invited by the dessert and bakery café chain to The Star in Frisco – the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters – to watch and cheer on the attempt. Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip teamed up with America’s Team in an official attempt to break the world record by lining up more than 3,000 assorted chocolate chip cookies in Tostitos Championship Plaza at The Star. The cookies were assembled from start to finish in the shape of a football.
The event also featured live music, the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders, and special guests. Following the event, Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip donated uneaten cookies to the Salvation Army and FoodSource DFW.
As part of the National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day celebration, Nestlé Toll House Cafés nationwide offered one free chocolate chip cookie to each guest that day.
