Acclaimed St. Louis bakery Nathaniel Reid Bakery (one of the top 30 in the country, according to Yelp) has announced a special menu of sweet and savory items for Father’s Day.
One of the signature offerings is milk chocolate golf balls ($15), an ideal gift for the father with a sweet tooth and a love for playing golf. It features three hand-molded chocolates, filled with milk chocolate, hazelnuts, and caramelized puffed rice.
“As a dad myself, Father’s Day is a special time, so we want to offer a menu that allows all dads to feel celebrated,” says Nathaniel Reid. “Our chocolate golf balls are very popular every year since they look just like a real sleeve of golf balls.”
It is joined on the menu by a decadent six-inch Chocolate Trio Cake ($35), a chocolate cake with layers of dark, milk, and white chocolate mousse. For a more savory option, the bakery is offering a Whole Smoked Bacon, Ham, Sausage, and Cheddar Quiche ($28) for breakfast.
Orders can be placed now through Thursday, June 13 on the phone or online. Additionally, another unique item for hosting a crowd on Father’s Day is the Nathaniel Reid Bakery Box ($44). It features an assortment of the James Beard Award semifinalist’s signature bakery items, including two kouign-amann, two croissants, two chocolate croissants, two apricot Danishes, two almond croissants and two chocolate almond croissants.
