The RPIA Group, a bakery association that specializes in Bakery Operations, and QCS Purchasing, a not-for-profit supply chain solutions provider for the food and beverage industry, have announced a new partnership. The strategic alignment will provide stronger buying power and additional sourcing solutions for the bakery industry.
QCS will deliver additional savings and solutions to help The RPIA Group achieve lower costs on products and services, including ingredients, small parcel and home delivery, facility services/products/supplies, graphics services such as vehicle wraps, uniforms, workwear, and more. QCS also offers programs in food quality and safety, leadership development, risk management, and many other value-added services which are listed on the QCS website.
“Both companies share a deep commitment in providing solutions for their members. We are excited for our members to take advantage of the buying power and expertise of this new strategic partnership. This is where we want to be in the future. We will be stronger and even better together. A win, win for our members,” says Rick Crawford, CMB, Managing Partner of The RPIA Group.
RPIA members will have direct contact with QCS supply partners and a members-only website where they can find resources such as additional QCS approved programs, market information, regulatory updates, and special bulletins.
“QCS continues to be the leading provider of purchasing and value-added services for their member-owners in the food and beverage industry. We now have the opportunity to expand our strengths into the bakery industry. RPIA members will be part of a community of nearly 500 member-owners who are able to create leverage though aggregate buying power,” says Ken Klug, President of QCS Purchasing.
