Magnolia Bakery’s 5th annual National Banana Pudding Day is set to take place on Thursday, August 29. To celebrate, the bakery chain is launching a new, limited-edition banana pudding flavor.
Red Velvet Banana Pudding has layers of Magnolia Bakery’s handmade red velvet cake and cream cheese icing, as well as vanilla pudding, vanilla wafers, and bananas. It will be available at all of Magnolia Bakery’s U.S. stores (New York City, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and Chicago) from August 29 to September 1.
Another part of Magnolia Bakery’s Banana Pudding Day celebration is a Banana Pudding Happy Hour. From August 22-28, medium banana puddings will be $5 from 5-6 p.m. at all U.S. stores.
Additionally, Magnolia Bakery’s original location on Bleecker Street in New York City will offer “loaded banana pudding” on Wednesday, August 28. With each banana pudding purchase, customers will get a free scoop on any flavor. The Bleecker Street location will also give customers the first chance to try the red velvet flavor and a chance to win banana pudding for a year.
August is National Banana Pudding Month, according to Magnolia Bakery, and the chain has been celebrating with special flavors all month long, including a Salted Caramel flavor, a Nutella flavor, and more.
