Mini chocolate chip cupcakes with vanilla frosting
This delicate vanilla cake is filled with decadent chocolate chips and topped with a dollop of creamy vanilla frosting, making this cupcake a real crowd-pleaser. AAK’s CISAO™ 81-20 all-purpose shortening, made with palm for reduced saturated fat applications, gives the cupcake its desirable clean mouthfeel along with great creamability and the ability to customize. CISAO™ 81-16 is featured in an emulsified shortening to give the frosting its creamy texture, help retain its shape and structure, and allow its delicate vanilla flavor to shine through. CEBES™ 29-72 NH is AAK’s cocoa butter substitute, giving the chocolate chips a clean mouthfeel with no waxy coating and an optimal melt profile, allowing the chips to retain their structure during storage, baking and in the final product.
Plant-based cheesy garlic biscuits
This flaky and tender, plant-based cheesy garlic bite showcases AAK’s newest organic solution, AKOPLANET™ 28-001 ORD—made with a unique blend of organic coconut and organic sunflower oils to create the deliciously on-trend plant-based cheese. CEBES™ 81-20 is included as a non-hydrogenated all-purpose palm oil shortening to reduce saturated fat. CISAO™ 78-31 flaked shortening, made with palm and palm kernel oil, is incorporated to evenly distribute fat, creating a tender mouthfeel while delivering the cheesy garlic flavor.
