Fast-growing donut chain Duck Donuts will soon add its second location in the state of Minnesota when it opens a new location inside of the Mall of America later this year.

“We chose to make Mall of America home to our second Minnesota location due to its premier status as a destination in the Twin Cities,” says franchisee Justin Butler, who owns both Minnesota stores. “Duck Donuts is more than just donuts, it’s a creative, fun and interactive experience that we feel aligns with the direction of Mall of America.”

“Having a location inside Mall of America aligns with our company’s newest growth initiative of expanding into nontraditional spaces,” says Duck Donuts CEO and founder Russ DiGilio. “This location gives us the opportunity to expose our emerging brand to the 40 million yearly visitors who will now have the opportunity to enjoy our warm, delicious and made-to-order donuts.”

At 5.6 million square feet, Mall of America is the largest shopping and entertainment complex in North America with more than 520 world-class retail stores and restaurants.

“Duck Donuts was created with a focus on family-friendly experiences with fresh and unique made-to-order donuts which makes them a perfect addition at Mall of America,” says Mall of America leasing manager Ashley Hofmann. “We look forward to our guests letting their imagination run wild as they craft their own special and personalized creations.”
