Racine, Wisconsin’s O&H Danish Bakery is no stranger to tasty Kringle flavors. The bakery offers different versions of the pastry for special occasions, and an upcoming anniversary is one of those times.
To celebrate its 70 anniversary during a festival on Saturday, October 19, O&H is bringing back its popular Brandy Old Fashioned Kringle for one day only. The unique pastry is made by blending a little brandy, caramel, and cherries, which is then finished with vanilla icing garnished with touch of orange zest.
Additionally, the bakery will commemorate the anniversary by unveiling an extra-large Kringle in the shape of the number ’70.’
The festival will also feature live music; free children’s activities like pumpkin tic tac toe, cornhole ring toss, cookie decorating and face painting; mascot meet and greets; photo opportunities; the chance to sample and purchase dozens of O&H treats; a pizza food truck; and more.
“Four generations of Olesen’s have made Racine their home and built a bakery centered on the great customers in the Racine community. We’re beyond honored that we are able to celebrate this milestone and we can’t wait to celebrate our anniversary with friends, family, and customers,” says Eric Olesen, co-owner and president of O&H Danish Bakery.
