Halloween is just ten days away, and in preparation Cooking Channel has introduced a new show aimed at cakes that exemplify the scary nature of the holiday.

Freakshow Cakes, which premiered on Friday, October 4, follows three “sinister” cake artists as they step into a side show tent and whip up the freakiest cakes imaginable in hopes of winning $10,000 and the title of Freakshow Champion.

Hosted by Zac Yung and Vivian Chan, the competition features gruesome works of cake art. Highlights so far include nightmare-inducing clowns and hair-raising carousels.

The one-of-a-kind cake showdown gives skilled competitors a new stage to deliver on innovative concepts and taste.
