Legendary Las Vegas bakery Freed’s Bakery is celebrating a special anniversary this year. Often referred to as one of the best bakeries in Las Vegas, Freed’s Bakery has been satisfying customers since 1959.

In honor of its 60^th anniversary, Freed’s is offering select cupcake flavors for 60 cents at three Freed's Bakery locations. From now through Friday, November 22, customers can red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing and chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with buttercream icing for the special price.

Additionally, the bakery is asking fans to share their favorite memories of Freed’s on social media and use the tag #Freeds60 for a chance to win a cake decorating class for two.

Freed’s Bakery was recently the subject of the Food Network series Vegas Cakes, which ran two seasons. The show gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look inside the bakery, detailing how its staff makes the fun, outrageous, and elaborate cakes that have made it famous.
