California-based Tartine Bakery recently announced that its breads can now be found at select Whole Foods Markets locations in Los Angeles, including downtown LA, Fairfax, Burbank, and Glendale stores, with hopes to expand across more of Southern California.
Although Tartine originated in the Bay Area, there are no current plans for its breads to be available in stores there. Instead, Tartine is currently focused on bringing new bakery locations to the area.
The past year has been a busy one for Tartine. Among the recent developments have been a food hall in San Francisco International Airport, Tartine Manufactory in Los Angeles, and a casual café and bakery inside of the Graduate Hotel in Berkeley.
