Voodoo Doughnut is set to expand its presence in Texas with a second location in the state. Joining the doughnut chain’s Austin shop is a new shop in Houston.
Set to debut in January of 2020, Voodoo Doughnut Houston will provide the same innovative doughnuts and culture that Voodoo Doughnut has become known for. The Houston shop will stand out from the rest, as it will be Voodoo's first 24/7 drive-thru location.
“We are ecstatic to continue our expansion in Texas, adding to our existing location in Austin,” says Voodoo Doughnut co-founder Kenneth “Cat Daddy” Pogson. “We look forward to contributing to the Houston community and eager to find amazing people that thrive in a fun, high energy environment to join the team. Get ready to see our iconic pink boxes in the coming year!”
Voodoo Doughnut offers a plethora of donut flavors which have attracted locals and tourists alike. Staples such as the Bacon Maple Bar and the Portland Cream are joined by more outside-the-box ideas. One such donut features bubble gum dust and a piece of bubble gum on top, while another resembles a voodoo doll complete with a raspberry jelly filling and a pretzel stake.
