Since the summer of 2018, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts has delighted customers by turning on its glaze waterfall chocolate for one Friday each month.

Chocolate glazed doughnuts were first introduced in 2017 for America’s first coast-to-coast total solar eclipse in nearly 100 years. They were offered on the day of the eclipse – Monday, August 21 – as well as the weekend before.

Seeing how popular the special doughnuts were, Krispy Kreme brought them back for the first Friday of each month starting in August 2018. The company recently announced that this tradition would continue in 2020.
