One of the most iconic local coffee brands in the state of Wisconsin, Colectivo is making a big impact with its baked goods. Just before National Gluten Free Day on Monday, January 13, the company introduced a new lineup of gluten-free, vegan bakery items made by its own Troubadour Bakery at all of its Wisconsin cafés.
“Our goal is to offer delicious treats for all, so with that in mind, we have expanded our use of inventive recipes and progressive ingredients like alternative sweeteners, oat and nut flours. We think you'll be delighted by the results!” Colectivo said in a news release.
Among the new items are the Tahini Caramel Square, Ginger Orange Cream Cookie Sandwich, Oatmeal Blueberry Protein Bites, and Chocolate Almond Protein Bites. They join the Morning Glory Muffin and Cranberry Almond Date Bar which have been updated to omit dairy and eggs and are now made using almond flour instead of wheat.
Gluten-free (non-vegan) items available include the Chocolate Almond Cake, Choco Rice Krispie Bar, Flourless Peanut Butter Cookie, Double Chocolate Toffee Cookie, Chocolate-Dipped Macaroon, and a protein-packed Sesame Bar.
