Cary, North Carolina’s La Farm Bakery, known for its unique breads, is set to bring those products and much more to a new café in Terminal 2 of Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
Later this spring, La Farm will launch a pop-up bakery at the bottom of the escalators used by all departing and arriving passengers. This will build anticipation for its full-service bakery, set to open in the winter of 2020.
Equipped with a hearth oven, the bakery will be able to bake its breads on-site, as well as pastries. La Farm will also serve salads, sandwiches, and coffee, and will have a full-service bar with beer, wine, and spirits.
Raleigh-Durham International Airport received multiple bids for the space where La Farm will be located. The bakery outbid another business with North Carolina ties, Tupelo Honey, for the spot.
