In October of 2019 in honor of National Liqueur Day, Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur debuted a new flavor with the help of one of America’s most beloved bakeries. The liqueur company teamed up with Georgetown Cupcake and its founders, Katherine Kallinis Berman and Sophie Kallinis LaMontagne, for a limited-edition red velvet flavor featuring the iconic flavor of the bakery’s top-selling cupcake.
Baileys Red Velvet has aromas of freshly baked red velvet cupcakes, sweet cream, and buttery icing and tastes like fresh chocolate cake, topped with a dollop of cream cheese frosting and just a hint of cocoa powder.
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner (and to celebrate that partnership), Georgetown Cupcake will be handing out complimentary non-alcoholic Baileys Red Velvet cupcakes at all of its store locations for two days only on Friday, February 7 and Saturday, February 8 while supplies last.
“We absolutely love Baileys, so this is a really exciting partnership for us that has been an absolute treat to work on. Red Velvet is not only our original cupcake flavor, but to this day it’s chosen by our customers nearly ten to one, so we’re so delighted to be able to give fans a whole new way to indulge!” says Katherine Kallinis Berman and Sophie Kallinis LaMontagne.
