Gigi Butler, the founder of Gigi’s Cupcakes (which now boasts more than 100 stores in 24 states), is taking her talents to the pie game.

The new venture, Pies by Gigi, is set to open in Franklin, Tennessee later this year. In a press release, Gigi Butler said:

“It has been an honor and a privilege to be able to come into your homes for your birthdays, celebrations and to be a part of your lives for the last 12 years. As I pass the torch onto a new owner of Gigi’s Cupcakes, it is a bittersweet feeling but it’s time to re-create and start something new, from scratch.”

In 2016, Butler sold Gigi’s Cupcakes but kept one location in Nashville.
