In March of 2012, Sprinkles Cupcakes provided a new innovation in the baking world. The company’s ATM vending system dispensed cupcakes (boxed and selling for $4 apiece) 24 hour a day, 7 days a week.

To celebrate the eighth birthday of this innovation, Sprinkles is introducing a new cupcake. The Chocolate Birthday Cake cupcake is a birthday cake topped with chocolate cream cheese frosting, nonpareil rim, and Happy Birthday modern dot.

Not only will all Sprinkles bakery locations offer the cupcake in-store, but all ATMs will carry the cupcake (including at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas). It will be available for one weekend only, March 20-22.

Another limited-time cupcake flavor at Sprinkles this month is the Baileys Irish Coffee. The coffee chocolate cake is topped with green Baileys Irish Cream frosting and a gold shamrock. It’s available now through St. Patrick’s Day on Tuesday, March 17.
