Retail bakeries are facing a time of fear and uncertainty as the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread and foodservice establishments are forced to shut down in-person dining.
In order to discuss creative ways to get customers in the door and keep retail baking businesses afloat during this tough economic period, the Retail Bakers of America (RBA) is hosting a virtual town hall meeting on Tuesday, March 24 at 2 p.m. (CST). The topic for the one-hour open discussion with bakery owners and operators will be Employee Management & Communication and Creative Ways to Get Them in the Door (or to the curb).
As “seating” is limited, the RBA encourages retail baker owners to RSVP on the event page as soon as possible. RBA Members are free to join the town hall and non-RBA Members will be $10.
“You are NOT alone! Bakeries all across the country are dealing with the same uncertainty and fear. But bakers are resilient and stronger when we work together,” the RBA says on the event page.
