To help all of the bakers (both professional and home) currently quarantined, Christina Tosi has launched a free Instagram baking club. The founder of Milk Bar shares baking tips every day at 2 p.m. EST on her Instagram stories.
Among the ways in which Tosi is helping her fellow bakers are riffs on some of her most popular products like the Compost Cookie and Cereal Milk. The recipes can be found on her personal website.
“I’m uncertain of the future, and yet certain about the need to bake,” Tosi said in one of her recent Instagram posts. “That is where I find myself. That is where you can find us.”
In November, Milk Bar opened a new flagship location in New York City. The 4,000-square-foot store is on the ground floor of the city’s Ace Hotel. The bakery currently has 18 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada, however several of these are temporarily closed during the coronavirus outbreak.
