In support of the Los Angeles community during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, La Brea Bakery has launched its Frontline Meals Program. Starting Wednesday, April 1, all healthcare workers, first responders, and essential frontline employees will receive a free boxed meal at La Brea Bakery café on S La Brea Ave.
Nurses, doctors, janitorial staff and anyone else that works in hospital or health care facilities can receive a meal (up to 100 total per day) that includes a sandwich, bag of chips and a cookie when they present their badge or proof of employment at the café.
The offer will last through the entire month of April, so there will be plenty of chances for health care workers to take advantage of it.
“Health care workers across the nation are on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. We recognized that many of them are working harder than ever before and have to focus on taking care of their patients over their own wellbeing,” the company says. “We want to support these heroes helping during this crisis.”
