The healthcare profession has taken on an additional level of important in recent months, as the coronavirus has left thousands of Americans in need of healthcare. To show its appreciation for these individuals, Dunkin’ is offering a special treat to healthcare workers on National Nurses Day.

On Wednesday, May 6, all healthcare workers can get a free medium hot or iced coffee and a free donut – no purchase necessary – at participating Dunkin’ restaurants nationwide.

“As a brand with a long heritage of serving those who serve, we appreciate and honor the heroic work and unwavering commitment nurses and healthcare professionals show every day,” says Dave Hoffmann, chief executive officer of Dunkin’ Brands. “Their selfless sacrifices inspire all of us to come together to do everything we can to support our communities. We want people on the frontlines to know that we have their backs and they can count on Dunkin’ to help keep them running.”

For the rest of America that needs a pick-me-up during these challenging times, Dunkin’ has introduced $2 Iced Mondays and an extension of its Free Donut Fridays for its DD Perks rewards members this May. Every Monday throughout May, Perks members will be able to get medium iced coffees for $2, and Perks members who buy any beverage will receive a free donut.

Additionally, Dunkin’ is bringing back a popular coffee flavor and introducing a new snack option. The Butter Pecan coffee flavor is back for a limited time, featuring a combination of butter roasted pecan and sweet cream flavors in Dunkin’s full lineup of hot and iced coffees, espresso drinks, Frozen Coffee and Frozen Chocolate. The new Croissant Stuffers are warm and buttery stuffed croissants available in two flavors: Three Cheese, stuffed with mozzarella and cheddar with Swiss cheese topping; and Chicken, Bacon & Cheese, stuffed with savory chicken, bacon, and Colby Jack cheese, and topped with everything seasoning.
