With restaurants across the country shuttering due to the coronavirus pandemic, Pinterest is looking to help the foodservice industry while also inspiring home chefs everywhere.
Chefs at Home is an online collection of 70 recipes created by over 30 top chefs and culinary leaders. Pinners are invited into the home kitchens of chefs such as Tanya Holland, Kwame Onwuachi, Andrew Zimmern, Giada de Laurentiis and more.
Starting Thursday, July 16, Pinterest’s Today Tab will feature new, fresh recipes released every Thursday through the end of August. The collection kicks off with recipes celebrating black chefs, including Kwame Onwuachi’s chickpea tagine hummus.
The preview of the recipe releases can be found here.
As part of this program, Pinterest is donating $300,000 in free advertising to raise awareness and funding for the National Restaurant Association Educational Fund (NRAEF), Relief Opportunities for All Restaurants (ROAR), No Kid Hungry and Harlem Grown.
