Opened nearly a year and a half ago in New York City, Italian bakery Angelina Bakery has quickly grown to two locations in the city. The bakery serves Italian classics with a unique Asian twist, representing the owner's Korean-Italian background.
Now, the bakery is teaming with Goldbelly to bring its products nationwide. Several products will be available for 24- to 48-hour shipping and delivery all over the United States. They will arrive frozen and pre-baked, allowing for customers to easily savor.
Among the products available will be croissants (Nutella, pain au chocolat, raspberry, almond or plain), Italian filled doughnuts called bombolones (Nutella, custard cream, pistachio or strawberry), croissant sandwiches (filled with ham, bacon egg and cheese, turkey or prosciutto) and Angelina’s traditional pizza (topped with spicy salami, egg and spinach, ham and cheese or margherita).
Owner Antonio Park opened the bakery for his daughter in memory of his grandmother, Nonna Anna. “I want to delight you with our family’s secret recipes and traditions,” he says to her in a letter plastered on the wall. “I promise to use only the freshest ingredients, as Nonna did, and give you only the absolute best in hopes of sharing with you my fondest memories.”
