In tribute to its beloved chef Jill Dedinsky, who passed way Friday, August 28 after suffering a sudden brain aneurysm, Chicago-based specialty grocery store and café The Goddess and Grocer is selling a tribute cupcake in her honor.

The “Jilly” Bean Cupcake, available at Goddess locations starting Wednesday, September 2, features Dedinsky’s favorite Goddess vanilla cake with hot pink buttercream, to match her vibrant chef coat and topped with white chocolate shavings.

Each year, Dedinsky participated in Chicago’s Polar Plunge to raise money for the Special Olympics. The Goddess and Grocer will be donating 100% of the cupcake proceeds, $3.95, to the charity that meant so much to her.

A GoFundMe page has been established to help pay for Jill Dedinsky’s medical expenses and to support her son during this difficult time.
