In honor of World Animal Day, which occurred on Sunday, October 4, this month Country Crock Plant Butter is teaming up with vegan icon and cupcake-loving Esther the Wonder Pig and nationwide bakery Cute as a Cupcake! Cupcakery & Bake Shop to introduce a limited-edition Esther the Wonder Pig Vegan Cupcake to benefit animal sanctuaries.
On Tuesday, October 13, the Esther the Wonder Pig Cupcake will be available to order at the bakery’s website. Country Crock Plant Butter will cover the cost of the first 100 Esther the Wonder Pig Vegan Cupcake orders placed online and will then match the cost of each purchased limited edition cupcake batch with a donation of up to $20,000 to support animal sanctuary partners, Happily Ever Esther Farm Sanctuary and Woodstock Sanctuary (where Esther the Wonder Pig calls home).
The special edition cupcake will be available in four 8-ounce jars for $32 plus taxes and shipping, while supplies last through October.
For World Animal Day, Esther the Wonder Pig shared a special message, along with brand fan Antoni Porowski, about why it’s important for animals and people alike to incorporate plant-based meals into their diet.
