California’s Pietisserie is nationally known for its original and classic artisan pies. Founder Jaynelle St. Jean is looking to pass along some of her pie knowledge to interested bakers in a new class set to take place before the holidays.
On Wednesday, November 25, one day before Thanksgiving, St. Jean will host a virtual pie class to show how to make a Thanksgiving pie, with a crust and other ingredients provided in advance by Pietisserie through contactless delivery or next day shipping.
Viewers will learn how to prepare a Ginger Citrus & Cranberry Pie, only available through this offer. With the hectic holiday season approaching and many seeking to create quality dishes with everything else going on in their lives, Pietisserie is offering this original solution which includes the fun of taking a cooking class as well.
“I have taught many cooking classes over the years, deconstructing the pie baking process into its essential elements: crust, filling, assembly, topping,” says St. Jean. “In this presentation students will start with premade components that give them the confidence to relax and get into the pleasures of the process without any worries about the outcome.”
Recipes for holiday desserts from Jaynelle St. Jean will appear this year in People Magazine and Food Network Magazine among other national publications.
