Following a busy election season and Election Day in which Americans were glued to their televisions as they awaited the results, Grubhub has examined the food and beverage delivery orders that were placed on that day.
Among the most popular orders on Tuesday, November 3 compared to previous Tuesdays through October were:

- Nutella pizza: 192% more popular
- Meatball slider: 181% more popular
- Burrata pizza: 173% more popular
- Margarita on the rocks: 144% more popular
- Garlic knot and marinara: 141% more popular
- Vegan cheese pizza: 135% more popular
- Loaded curly fries: 134% more popular
- Old fashioned: 121% more popular
- Grandma Sicilian pizza: 118% more popular
Americans were also staying caffeinated on Election Day, as cold brew was 201% more popular and chai lattes were 168% more popular during lunch (compared to the rest of the day). There was also a sugar rush that night, as tiramisu was the top choice for election night, 181% more popular during dinner time (compared to the rest of the day).
