After 22 years of serving Chicago, Blackbird closed its doors this past summer. The restaurant still lives on through memories from moments celebrated there over the years—as well as its recipes.
One Off Hospitality Group, a nine-time James Beard Award-winning restaurant group, is looking revive Blackbird through its iconic desserts. For the last two months, One Off Hospitality Group has been delivering Chicago-made dishes to doorsteps across the country through One Off At Home, its nationwide delivery service, and now its pastry team is offering three curated options reviving classic Blackbird sweets.
These sweets, available exclusively for Valentine’s Day for shipping nationwide through One Off at Home, are inspired by the decadent desserts formerly featured at Blackbird. They include:
- Blackbird Truffle Box — Six Hazelnut Truffles and Six Spiced Caramel Truffles
- Blackbird Bonbon Box — Four of each: Strawberry Ganache, Passionfruit Caramel and Banana Rum Ganache
- Blackbird Assorted Chocolate Box — Two of each: Blackbird Bonbons, Blackbird Truffles, Crunch Bars, Pate de Fruit, Nougat and Mint Meltaways
A limited quantity of each are available and must be placed by February 7 online. Free two-day shipping will take place on February 10. Guests can use the code “VALENTINES10” for 10% off Valentine’s Day orders (including the Blackbird desserts) within the holiday’s category placed before February 3.
