Voodoo Doughnut has announced its quarterly give-back campaign, continuing its partnership with The Replenish Foundation (formerly Generosity Feeds) through the creation of the exclusive Lemon Sunshine doughnut. Available now through June 27, the Lemon Sunshine doughnut is a lemon buttercream filled doughnut dusted with powdered sugar.
Voodoo Doughnut will donate a portion of the proceeds from every Lemon Sunshine doughnut sold directly to The Replenish Foundation, in support of its Generosity Feeds and Generosity Packs initiatives. The Lemon Sunshine doughnut will be available at Voodoo Doughnut locations in Oregon, Colorado and Texas.
“We are excited to continue our partnership with The Replenish Foundation, as part of Voodoo’s long-standing commitment to supporting our communities by giving back,” says Chris Schultz, Voodoo Doughnut chief executive officer. “We are humbled to be a small part of the great work they do in local communities by donating a portion of the proceeds from every Lemon Sunshine doughnut sold,” continued Schultz.
“Voodoo Doughnut says, ‘The Magic is in the Hole.’ It’s also in the work they do to help feed children in every county across America, while inspiring others to give back with them,” says Ron Klabunde, founder and chief executive officer of the Replenish Foundation. “Clearly… their first priority is people. We are fortunate to be partnered with Voodoo Doughnut.”
