Throughout the month of August, Sprinkles Cupcakes will be celebrating a variety of special events with returning cupcake flavors.

As students return to school next month, the cupcake bakery is helping them prepare with a fun take on a popular cookie. The Circus Animal cupcake is birthday cake, lined with a sugar cookie crust, topped with strawberry buttercream frosting and finished with rainbow sprinkles and a Mother’s Circus Animal Cookie. It will be available from August 9 to 22.

Later in the month on August 25, National Banana Split Day will take place. From August 23 to September 6, Sprinkles is offering its Banana Split cupcake. This banana cake is filled with marshmallow, topped with strawberry frosting, dipped in ganache and finished with crushed peanuts and a maraschino cherry.

Finally, on Thursday, August 26 for Women’s Equality Day, the She is Fierce Red Velvet will make its return. On that day, the bakery’s most popular flavor is decorated with an exclusive She is Fierce topper. Women’s Equality Day commemorates the passage of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution, granting the right to vote to women.
