The fall season is here, and The Maui Cookie Lady is ready with a beloved seasonal flavor.
The cookie bakery has released its Black Forest (the Oktoberfest Cookie). It features tart cherries soaked in a Smith Woodhouse 10-year-old matured Tawny Port. The bakery is soaking the cherries now to prepare the cookie with orange rinds and cinnamon sticks.
The velvet cocoa cookies also feature premium dark chocolate 64% couvertures and are infused with black cherry emulsion. They cost $6.75 for a 6-ounce cookie.
