One of Cincinnati’s most beloved animals is turning another year older and one of the city’s most beloved bakeries is helping to celebrate the occasion.

Fiona, a hippopotamus at the Cincinnati Zoo, turns five years old on January 24. In honor of her birthday, Busken Bakery is selling festive cookies featuring pink and white sprinkles and a photo of Fiona wearing a birthday hat with special messages “fabulous & 5” and “Happy 5th!”

The special cookies will be available starting Thursday, January 13. A portion of the proceeds from their sale will benefit the Cincinnati Zoo.

Fiona was born six weeks premature at the Cincinnati Zoo and is the smallest hippo ever to survive. She is now at a healthy weight for a hippo her age (well over 1,500 pounds).
