In an effort to accelerate its organic growth, Great Harvest Bread Company has announced the introduction of a new multi-unit development incentive program. The bakery-café chain’s new incentive program is designed for entrepreneurial-minded franchisees looking to grow their business and become strategic multi-unit owners.

“In an effort to inspire franchisees and incentivize growth, for franchisees that sign 3 or more stores, we will waive the royalty for the first year for all additional stores after the first one that is opened, based upon an agreed development schedule,” says Mike Ferretti, chief executive officer of Great Harvest Bread Company. “We believe that this new incentive program directly benefits our franchisees who want to grow their business, and it also demonstrates the dedication that Great Harvest Bread Company has to our franchise network.”

The franchise reports that same store sales for Q4 of 2021 were up 14.9 percent compared to 2019, the last “normal” year for comparison. Known for fresh, made-from-scratch bread and desserts, Great Harvest Bread Company has grown to nearly 200 locations across the United States.
