Two iconic New York City brands are teaming up for a sweet offering this month. Serendipity3 and Angelina Bakery have announced the return of the Frrrozen Hot Chocolate Bombolone Sundae first created in May ( which was available at Angelina Bakery).
The Frrrozen Hot Chocolate Bombolone Sundae is back for a limited time only, this time at Serendipity3. Francesco Barros, chef of Angelina Bakery, Frederick Schoen-Kiewart, chief executive chef of Serendipity3 and Chef Joe Calderone, creative director of Serendipity3 worked together to design the dessert that infuses both establishments together, inspired by Serendipity3’s 68 year old Frrrozen Hot Chocolate recipe and Angelina Bakery’s signature cream filled bomboloni and gelato.
The Frrrozen Hot Chocolate Bombolone Sundae features Angelina’s creamy Italian imported chocolate gelato, Serendipity’s Frrrrozen Hot Chocolate infused with rich chantilly cream, three airy bite-sized bomboloni, caramel drizzle and shaved chocolate sticks.
The dessert, available at Serendipity3 for a limited time from August 11-14, retails for $27.95.
