California-based bakery SusieCakes has introduced a new dessert for Thanksgiving that provides an alternative to the traditional pies for celebrations.

The Cranberry Orange Cake has three layers of moist orange flavored cake baked with fresh cranberries and is topped and layered with a fresh orange buttercream. Finished with fall colored sugar and the message “Thankful” written on top, the cake is made-to-order and ready for next day shipping.

The cake is available to preorder now and will be available for shipping starting November 1-21. To ensure it arrives before Thanksgiving, the bakery recommends an early delivery date and following storage instructions. The last day to order this cake for Thanksgiving is November 21 at 6 pm EST.

SusieCakes also recently announced that it is expanding its nationwide shipping menu to include the fan-favorite Southern Red Velvet Cake. Due to popular demand, the bakery’s famous dessert joins the Vanilla Celebration Cake and classic Old-Fashion Chocolate Cake, all made to order and shipped nationally.
